200W UFO High Bay Light IHBL Series Project Case In Belgium
This farm lighting project in Belgium has completed in 2023(Total 225pcs 200W with surface mount method). GTL IHBL high bay light with 190lm/w luminous efficacy and IP65 are designed for wet/dusty spaces with indoor 20-foot ceilings or wet situations, such as a tunnel or damp farm.
The environment in the dairy farm is different from daily life, with high humidity, dust, and a large amount of corrosive gases. This determines that the farming lamps must be waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion-resistant. Dairy cows have different brightness requirements than humans. The photoperiod should be 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, which can increase milk production by about 2.5 kg/cow/day.
The sensitive areas of cattle to visible light are red and orange light, and the blind area is blue light, which is completely different from that of humans. So, in the red light area that we think is very dark, the cow will think it is very bright, and in the blue light area that we think is very bright, the cow may think it is very dark. Among the LED lights, the red light source has the highest cost. Using a red and blue alternating light management system, it is convenient for workers to operate at night without disturbing cattle and reducing stress.
